After my repentance I had a great burden about my village, so I started to evangelize my village through open air meetings, convention, fasting prayer, house visits and crusades .In 1993 pastor C.J.Soman (Niranam) came with his Bible School students and conducted a 5 days camp, The result of this meetings was a regular bible class which started in cheriyanad at the residence of Bro. A.G.Mathew, (Ex-Panchayath Member) when Pastor Soman got a chance to visit Gulf countries he arranged Pastor Surendren to conduct the bible class in Cheriyanad. After few weeks Bro.A.G.Mathew and few others decided to take water baptism. After the Baptism service Pastor Surenderan started new worship service in my house. Now about 70 believers are worshiping here, most of them are new comers. We are not entertaining believers who come from other churches. Rather God is providing us with new souls.
God gave me a burden about full time prayer facility for these who need prayer support. Thus we started Gilgal Prayer Center. Now a group of brothers and sisters are preys for others throughout the day. In 1998 we purchased a land costing Rs.7.5 lack for Gilgal Prayer Center in the heart of Cheriyanad. (Cheriyanad is between Chengannur and Mavelikkara) Pastor P.V.Asari constructed a huge temporary 100X40ft"Koodaram" (Tent) in this land and conducted some meetings. Now the prayer centre is working in this tent and by the grace of God we started the construction of new permanent prayer centre. Please pray for the successful completion of the Prayer centre building. We wish not to request any financial support from any body except the Almighty God. But we requesteverybeliever's prayer support.We believe our GOD is able to provideall of his children's needs. "For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road. Because we had spoken to the king saying, The hand of our God is upon all those for good that seekHim. (Ezra: 8:22).
When we kneel down for our needs God opens the doors for our requirement. " It is better to trust in the lord than to put confidence in man"(Psalm 118:8). We would like to adopt the biblical pattern. In previous years we have enjoyed the providence of God. The same God will provide our needs in future also.
The president of this ministry is THE FATHER GOD, Founder is SON-JESUS CHRIST and the Director is THE HOLY SPIRIT. Others and me are GOD'S servants that do GOD'S commandments and obey HIS word. Let thousands enjoy the gift of salvation through JESUS CHRIST, the blessing of the almighty GOD and the sweet fellowship of the HOLY SPRIT.
